Davidoff
THE LEAVES ARE READY
The plant speaks a separate language to tell it is ready to harvest. It expresses it through color and shape and is well understood by our farmers. We collect leaves in pairs, reading the exquisite palette of signs - the location of the leaf on the stem, its color and shape, resistance to touch. It takes 35 days to complete the picking process of the tobacco leaves.
THE AGING OF THE LEAVES
After careful transportation, necessary to preserve the delicacy of the leaves, the workers hang them to hang and dry in our ranches, where we "cultivate" their flavor and aroma for 45 days under constant temperature and humidity monitoring. Once dried to the required level, the leaves are stored for another 20 to 30 days during which careful and precise fermentation takes place.
A TIME FOR PEACE AND PLEASURE
Finally, fully finished, after 5-10 years, each cigar is transported to the place where it will be transferred to the hands of lovers of good pleasure. As the flame touches the tip, time calms down, a moment when feeling and pleasure trumps all else. Every breath of Davidoff is a celebration. Time beautifully executed.
